Do Not Burst

As with "waggle" and "jaggies", gaming hardware continues to drive the creation of new vocabulary. With E3 came the rise of "the bubble", a term to describe the spacial zone one's head must occupy while using the Nintendo 3DS in order for the system's 3D visual effect to work properly. Move your head anywhere outside the bubble
and the illusion crumbles, revealing at once the dual images that make up the stereoscopic effect. The term has been thrown around so much that it started to conjure some odd images for me.
By the way, this whole updating every other week deal is just a phase.
