Oh hey, double update all up in here. Be sure to click that back button if it's your first time here this week. I guess you might consider this the start of a small *gasp* story arc. Like so many other webcomic creators, the desire to tell some kind of multistrip story crept up on me. But fear not, regular, game-centric comics will still appear every Monday and this brief arc stint will only constitute additional strips in the week. You might recognize some familiar faces up there. There are Seth and Josh from RPG-TV, Harvey from Dueling Analogs, and Evan from Cartridge Comics. The creators of all these comics are people who I consider friends in the webcomic world. I remember a long time ago when Digital Unrest was only a couple months old and still lived on a free comic hosting service I had posted a link to Dueling Analogs and Steve Napierski took the time to email me a thank you even though my site was a virtual nothing and the link probably sent, at most, 5 people to Dueling Analogs. And lets not forget that he invited me in as a member of the gaming comic collective he helms, Gamer's Pair of Dice, despite the fact that my site is the least popular of the lot. Chris and Lex over at Cartridge Comics have also been very friendly to me since the beginning. I very rarely try to actively promote DU and only once or twice have I gone and done so on a message board. One of those times I posted on a very totalitarian board and my post was literally deleted within 3 minutes of it going up. However, I guess Chris (the Cartridge Comics one), by some luck, saw that post and he started to get the word out on DU. I've had the pleasure of contributing and receiving guest strips with Cartidge Comics since then, and I think we try to put in a good word for each other whenever fitting. I think this last point can be said of James and Chris (so many damn Chris's out there) over at RPG-TV, as well. They graciously invited me to participate in their one-year anniversary and have payed me more compliments than I probably deserve. It's been a real pleasure having DU "grow up" along with these fine comics.
