I don't often comment on matters of Microsoft and the Xbox since I own neither iteration of the console. But I'll make an exception here because I think Peter Moore, head of Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment Business division, is quite a character. He's definitely not on the level of Sony's Ken Kutaragi, who has the ability to spawn at least 2 internet memes every time he opens his mouth, but he has his moments. Recently, Peter stated in an interview that backwards compatibility on the 360 was now an afterthought, going so far to say that they had already "overdelivered" in that area. There was a predictable backlash and Moore promptly reversed his former sentiments. Whereas Kutaragi most likely would have held steadfast in such a position (this is a man that threw a $599 USD price tag in our faces and told us to be thankful because it should cost more, afterall), Moore actually responded to public opinion. This would suggest that Moore may be the saner of the two, but then again, Moore purportedly has real tattoos of the Halo 2 and GTA IV logos on his arms, and likens the Xbox 360 experience to lucid dreaming.
